I remember when Lake Travis had water!
Today was a good day, I can't help but dream about leavin' tonight and seeing the world or going on a crazy adventure. But then I am thinking, that's what I'm on. I never thought I'd be here in Austin and I never thought I'd be enjoying it here (minus the 6 million degree heat) but God is good and he is, has and will continue to provide me with an adventure called life. We don't end up certain places or choose certain things by accident but I am convinced the divine hand of God is at work.
However you want to spin it, predestined or by choice, we are here doing what we are doing for an exact purpose and reason. When I think about this, I realize how blessed I am. I have a great family, friends, job and a lot of fun things to do with them all. But when it all comes down to it, if I find my hope and joy in those things, they will all fail. It's just a matter of time.
If I find my identity in things, people or the art I create... I will be pretty hollow inside. One day they will all pass away and one thing remains!!!
A love from a creator who gave his life for a people undeserving (including me). Pretty crazy to think how blessed we truly are. Think about your life and how you've been blessed and then remember you've been blessed to be a blessing to others.
